Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of MidadQuest by schools ("Institutions"), and by teachers, parents, and students accessing the platform through an Institution's account.

1. Beta status

MidadQuest is in active beta with a small number of partner schools. Features, availability, and performance may change as we continue development. We'll give Institutions reasonable notice of material changes that affect their use of the platform.

2. Institution responsibilities

The Institution is responsible for obtaining any consents required by law before providing student or family information to MidadQuest, and for managing which staff have administrator access.

3. Accounts and access

Each person accessing MidadQuest does so through credentials issued by their Institution. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

4. Acceptable use

MidadQuest may not be used to upload unlawful content, harass others, or attempt to access data belonging to another school or family.

5. Data ownership

Institutions and families own their data. MidadQuest does not sell student or family data, and does not use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particularly during the beta period.

7. Termination

An Institution may stop using MidadQuest at any time. While an account is active, Institutions can download roster lists and individual report cards from within MidadQuest. Once an account ends, administrator access may no longer be available, so please contact us about obtaining a copy of your records or about deleting information. We will work with the Institution on such requests, subject to applicable law and to records we are required or permitted to retain.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

MidadQuest is provided "as is" during the beta period. We make no warranty that it is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose beyond what's described here.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MidadQuest's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the fees paid by the Institution in the preceding 12 months, if any.

10. Changes to these Terms

We'll notify Institutions of material changes before they take effect.
